BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
IN THE PIMA COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION

Membership in the Young Lawyers Division and/or the Family Law Section at no additional cost.
Members receive one free copy of the current Legal Directory -- a pictorial directory of all lawyers in Pima County, including a courts roster and agency listings.
Members receive a subscription to the PCBA's monthly newspaper, The Writ. In addition to classified ads and a calendar of events, the publication has many informative and timely articles including a monthly message from the PCBA President.
Quilt Program: This program provides access to legal services for the middle to low-income groups commonly referred to as the "working poor." Lawyers serve clients at a reduced fee established by the Lawyer Referral Service Committee. This provides an excellent opportunity for new lawyers to gain experience and develop a client base. There is no fee for a PCBA member to participate.  Contact Brenda at 623-4625.

Lawyer Referral Service: A service intended to match prospective clients with attorneys based on area of practice. An attorney must be in practice for a least one year and have completed at least two cases in each area of law in which s/he takes referrals. There is no fee for a PCBA member to participate. PCBA members are invited to five luncheons a year which includes a program. This is a great opportunity to network or just relax over a nice lunch with your colleagues. Luncheon are the last Tuesday of the month - January, March, May, September and November. They are limited to 100 people and reservations are a must be made. Luncheon dates and programs are announced in The Writ.

PCBA members receive discounts on PCBA-sponsored CLE seminars, legal forms and mailing labels.
