Thru the Beacon Foundation, families with developmentally disabled adult children can receive crucial aid. The PCBA YLD recruits volunteers and trains them to represent the Petitioners through the guardianship process.
 

 
Since 1991, PCBA YLD has sponsored this program at local elementary schools. Attorney/tutors meet with 4th and 5th grade students in a one-on-one setting for one hour a week.
 

 
This program provides a forum for teens to express their ideas on issues being considered by policymakers in the legislature and the courts. Students spend several months researching and writing an issue brief on a selected topic to present to an assembly of policymakers and media.
